If a private customer purchases a product from another private person, the warranty terms of the product will remain in accordance with the original warranty terms even after the change of ownership. ACON requires the new owner to have the original purchase receipt to verify the warranty after the change of ownership of the product. ACON may not disclose the original purchaser's warranty information to the new owner without the original purchase receipt or the original purchaser's separate consent.
In transactions between private customers, the trade is not subject to the Consumer Protection Act, but to the Trade Act. The provisions are largely equivalent to the Consumer Protection Act as regards the definition of an error. In trade between private customers, the obligations of the buyer are greater than in consumer trade.
If the use of the products changes from private use to public use after the change of ownership, the warranty conditions related to the public use of the product shall be observed.
